Happy Endings for Annie and Ghost

We have some wonderful news to share with you!  We are always very happy when one of our dogs gets adopted, let alone when it is a DOUBLE adoption but most of all when one of the dogs has been at the sanctuary for 11 long years! A lovely couple whose dog died, decided to adopt from our sanctuary. They fell in love with Annie but they didn’t want that her roommate Ghost is left alone, so they decided to adopt both dogs! At first, we were a bit reluctant to home him due to his character, but when we took into consideration how far he has come with us we decided to give him a chance and he proved us right.

All dogs, no matter the age, size, looks or character, they should all be given the opportunity to heal and improve no matter how long it takes so that hopefully the day will come when they are chosen to live in the comfort of a loving family.  Please do not overlook those that hide away like Ghost used to do, he turned out to be the sweetest dog❤️
