Dear Supporters,

This year our Open Day will be held on Sunday 2nd October 2016. This is to celebrate the feast of St. Francis which will end with Mass to Thank God for His Creation.

We have had many expenses throughout the year, especially structural work at the sanctuary which was needed to avoid the danger of walls collapsing! There was other important maintenance to be done to keep the sanctuary in a good state! This besides the daily running costs of course. This could not have been done without your help during our fund raising activities. Naturally these funds have to be replaced, so we turn to you once again to help us by attending our Open Day.

We have had many new arrivals as residents since last year.  Some of our older dogs passed away and others found a good loving home.  We try to save as many dogs as possible but the lack of volunteers hinders us from doing so at times, although we work very hard and make lots of sacrifices for them! So come over to see who has joined us and who left!

It would also be very nice to see our ex-sanctuary dogs attend the Mass at the end of the event.

We hope to seen many, many of you throughout our Open Day.  Make it a fun day out, the bazaar, petshop, bookshop will be open.  There will also be a food and drink table so you don’t have to cook!:)

Help us raise the never ending need for funds!

Thank you.

Obo The Fund Raising Committee.
